This stroll-style japanese garden with a pond expresses mountains, rivers, oceans, and forests, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the seasons. This is a scenic spot overlooking the garden, and is popular for its Japanese sweets from a long-established shop in Chiba and matcha from a long-established shop in Kyoto.

Narita Airport

Blocks A and B are equipped with play equipment, plazas, flower beds, and more, giving them a true park atmosphere, while Block C is home to Mihamaen, a Japanese garden that is open to the public and requires a fee.
Block A is on the land side of the Keiyo Line and you will have to walk under the elevated railway to get to it. There are relatively many monuments and plantings, giving it a strong garden-like atmosphere. Block B feels like a park that everyone can play in.
Most of Block C is Mihamaen, so it is probably mostly used by people visiting the area.A Japanese garden with a calm atmosphere located within Makuhari Seaside Park. The Chisenkaiyushiki style garden has a pond in the center and depicts mountains, rivers, the sea, forests, etc. The attraction is that you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the pond, flowing water, and pine trees. Carp swim gracefully in the pond, and you can also feed them. The scenery that changes with the seasons, such as cherry blossoms in spring, autumn leaves, and snow in winter, is beautiful everywhere, and the modern landscape with skyscrapers as background is refreshing.
On the north side of the pond, there is also an authentic Sukiya-style tea room called Shoritei. Stop by during your walk and enjoy some luxurious time while enjoying matcha and Japanese sweets. Makuhari Seaside Park
