The prefecture's largest zoo and botanical gardens are themed on the paradise of Hawaii. The gardens, filled with palm trees, include a 300m-long greenhouse where you can enjoy viewing around 1000 kinds of tropical and subtropical plants in their natural state.
One of the largest zoological and botanical gardens in Chiba Prefecture, with a roadside station attached, it has an area of 14.5 ha (approximately three times the size of Tokyo Dome). This is the largest zoo and botanical garden in Chiba Prefecture, with displays of tropical and subtropical plants such as a 300m-long continuous greenhouse and a 20m-high large greenhouse, where you can see flowers and tropical fruits that bloom every season throughout the year.
