Museums and Japanese gardens are dotted across the hills with great views. Popular as a flower park, it is filled with beautiful seasonal flowers, including about 200 plum trees from January to mid-March, 1,200 camellia trees and about 500 cherry trees in spring, and 6,400 azalea trees in April.

Tateyama Castle is located on the southern hill of Tateyama City (EL+66m), and this area was once the residence of the Satomi clan, a military commander during the Sengoku period. ○To get to Tateyama Castle, you have to climb 360m with a maximum gradient of 15% to reach the mountaintop parking lot. The castle is further 140m away with a maximum slope of 6%.
○So, let's go by car from the lower parking lot to the mountaintop parking lot. Taxis and free shuttle buses are available.
○Tateyama Castle does not have an elevator, so wheelchair users cannot access the castle tower, but you can see the cityscape and Tateyama Bay from the summit plaza.
○The path (Sculpture Path) leading to the main museum building is flat and has 10 contemporary sculptures. You can enjoy portraits, abstract works, etc.
○The main museum building is a barrier-free facility with multipurpose restrooms, a ramp that eliminates stairs, free wheelchair rental, and written communication facilities. Tateyama castle

○access(car):8km from Futtsu Tateyama Road Tomiura Interchange via National Route 127.Time: about 20 minutes
○access(railway):JR Bus Kanto: Take the bus bound for Sunosaki, about 10 minutes, and get off at Shiroyama Koen-mae. Tateyama Nitto Bus: Take the bus bound for “Tateyama Air Corps” and get off at “Shiroyama Koen-mae” for about 10 minutes.
