Museums and Japanese gardens are dotted across the hills with great views. Popular as a flower park, it is filled with beautiful seasonal flowers, including about 200 plum trees from January to mid-March, 1,200 camellia trees and about 500 cherry trees in spring, and 6,400 azalea trees in April.
Tateyama Castle is located on the southern hill of Tateyama City (EL+66m), and this area was once the residence of the Satomi clan, a military commander during the Sengoku period. Inside the park, flowering trees such as camellias, plums, cherry blossoms, and azaleas line the paths, and are in full bloom depending on the season. Tateyama Castle
