Narita Airport

In addition to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, Narita Airport also has Terminal 3, which opened in April 2015 as a terminal exclusively for LCC airlines. If you are traveling by train, get off at "Airport Terminal 2 Station." There is a free shuttle bus from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3, but you can also walk from Terminal 2 via the access walkway.

Features of each terminal

Terminal 1: There is an observation deck on the 5th floor. Admission is free. There is a 4000m runway, the longest in Japan, right in front of you, and you can watch planes take off and land. If you like planes, this is a must-visit spot.
Terminal 2 opened in 1992, 14 years after the airport's opening. Although it has fewer stores than Terminal 1, it still has Uniqlo, Muji, convenience stores, and more, so you don't have to worry if you forget something before you leave. There are also plenty of Japanese restaurants, perfect for a meal before you leave Japan.
