The Shiramatsu area of Chikura Town, facing the Pacific Ocean, is an area of perpetual spring where frost never falls even in the middle of winter. Taking advantage of the warm climate, open-field cultivation of cut flowers is popular, and a variety of flowers are grown here, including poppies, rape blossoms, snapdragons, marigolds, and stocks. You can pick flowers from early January to mid-March, when many of the flowers are in full bloom. Shiramatsu Flower Fields
