At Hondo-ji Temple, also known as the "Temple of Hydrangeas," visitors are greeted by around 50,000 hydrangeas of about 10 varieties, including European hydrangea, lacecap hydrangea, and oak leaf hydrangea, as they pass through the Niomon Gate and enter the temple grounds. The colors and shapes vary depending on the variety, from purple to blue, pink, and white, so you can take your time to enjoy the different beauty of each flower. You can enjoy the magnificent sight of colorful hydrangeas in full bloom against the backdrop of majestic buildings such as the Niomon Gate and the five-story pagoda.
There are four locations in Chiba Prefecture where you can view the flower of Hydrangeas from a wheelchair.
At Narita Yume Farm, if you take a tractor ride you can see the hydrangea road with the bamboo forest in the background!
At Sakura Castle Ruins Park, you can enjoy viewing approximately 800 hydrangeas from early June to early July.
At Hondo-ji Temple, you can enjoy about 40 kinds of hydrangeas, including gaku hydrangea, princess hydrangea, and vortex hydrangea, from early to late June. The combination with the five-story pagoda on the hill is magnificent.

At Mother Farm, hydrangeas are planted along the promenade from the "Great Flower Slope West" to the "Fruit Farm (East Farm)." The "Woof Woof Bus" allows you to see the hydrangeas along the promenade and also takes you to the "Hydrangea Garden," where they are in full bloom the most.
