Its Japanese name is broom grass, and in the past, the stems, which had hardened from summer to autumn, Kochia is an annual plant with a distinctive rounded shape that changes size and color as it grows. Its growth reaches its climax in autumn, when the kochia gradually turn red, painting the entire flower field a deep crimson. Together with the cosmos and buckwheat blooming around it, the color can only be described as vivid. In late October, the kochia gradually changes color to a broom color. The golden kochia shining in the sunlight also evokes the feeling of autumn.
