Tateyama Station is a station on the JR East Uchibo Line located in Hojo, Tateyama City, Chiba Prefecture. It has been selected as one of the 100 best stations in the Kanto region.
It is an above-ground station with one single platform and one island platform, for a total of two platforms and three tracks, and has an elevated station building.

The railroad tracks are on the first floor and the station building is on the second floor.There are 4 stairs down from the station building to the station square and the two platforms.
There is two elevators at each of the platform 1 and platform 2/3 to access the station building. There is two elevators at each of the north and south exits to access the station building.The inside of the station building is flat all the way to the ticket gate.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located outside the ticket gates at the each exit.
