JR Kaihinmakuhari Station(JE13)

Kaihin-Makuhari Station is a station on the JR East Keiyo Line located in Hibino 2-chome, Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. Trains that enter the Musashino Line from Nishi-Funabashi Station also stop here. The station number is JE 14.
This station is the gateway to Makuhari New City, and many office buildings, hotels, and shopping centers are located around the station.
It is an elevated station with two island platforms and four tracks, and the station building is located underneath the elevated tracks.On September 13, 2013, it was renovated as JR East's third "Ecoste," and at the same time Perie Kaihin Makuhari opened underneath the elevated tracks.

Barrier-free information

The first floor is under the elevated railway line, with stairs, an elevator and two small shops leading to the mezzanine level station building. The second floor is the train tracks.
To get to the platform from the entrance in a wheelchair, take the elevator next to the stairs from ground level to the mezzanine level. At the mezzanine level, take the elevator inside the ticket gates to the second floor where the platform is.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located inside the ticket gates on the mezzanine level.
